Only bad thing so far: We got a speeding ticket here in Nebraska. Webster was going 87 mph in a 75 mph zone. Man, in LA you have to go at least 15 over the speed limit to get pulled over. We were in the middle of nowhere (Nebraska) and the HP pulled us over only going 12 over. Guess they're more strict here...

Three days in
Well, it's been a couple of days since my friends, Nigerian Doug de la Haye, Guyyo Adam Payton, and Emo David Webster, and I have left on our road trip across to the Mid-west. We first stopped in Hesperia, CA up in the Sierra Nevadas. Webster's family was there and his mom made us an AWESOME breakfast with scrambled eggs, english muffins with gravy, fruits with condensed milk, sausages, orange juice, milk, etc. It was great. From there we drove to Las Vegas, took a rest stop there. My first time to drive through there, at least that I can remember. Looks even better in person than watching it on CSI: Las Vegas. From there we drove straight to Salt Lake City, Utah where one of Doug's friends from Nigeria was. We stayed a day there, went hunting for rabbits and dear, enjoyed his pool and jacuzzi, and left early this morning. Right now we're in Lincoln, Nebraska visiting one of Adam's friends from Kenya. He goes to University of Nebraska, it's a HUGE campus. We're waiting for him to return from his rugby game bus trip from Colorado. We're in a cool coffee shop with free wireless and all. I posted some pics on my facebook, but if you don't have facebook, then there's some here on my blog. We're spending another day here before we go on up to Minnesota. Only a 6 hour drive to MN so should be fine. Oh and we stopped in Cheyenne, Wyoming, that placed was useless. I thought their capital was gonna be somewhat of a city, hardly at all! It was like one of the sorriest places for a capital I have ever been to. AND it was freezing cold. We definitely didn't pack very warm clothing for the mid-west. Tons of snow, wind, ice, it's cold...

Kuya Tim's high school diploma was awarded by University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Omaha, Nebraska - that's where I got my first and only speeding ticket!
Cheyenne, WY - We camped at a KOA campground in that cold, desolate place in July 1997.
